From June 21-23, Timeless Grooves celebrated a groundbreaking music experience and marked Jeroen Ermens’ graduation! Timeless Grooves was a groundbreaking event that redefined the traditional concert experience. Instead of placing musicians on a high stage, the event aimed to break down barriers by positioning artists at the same level as their audience. Conceived by Jeroen Ermens, a seasoned musician from Helmond, Timeless Grooves sought to create a more intimate and immersive connection between performers and listeners.
Ermens, known for his involvement in the Helmondse Musical and various local bands, wanted to offer something different. He envisioned a setting where the audience could experience music in its purest form—through headphones, similar to a silent disco. This unique format allowed attendees to feel as though they were part of an “XL living room session,” with musicians performing right beside them, creating an atmosphere of equality and shared experience.
Pronorm was proud to contribute to this innovative event by providing the lighting and projection that helped bring the concept to life. Our team worked closely with Ermens to ensure that the visual elements matched the event’s intimate and immersive vibe. Using state-of-the-art technology, we delivered stunning light displays and projections that complemented the diverse musical genres performed during the show, ranging from New Orleans Blues to synth-pop.
The technical setup involved carefully calibrated lighting systems and projections that enhanced the overall ambiance, making the audience feel truly connected to the music and the performers. Pronorm’s expertise in creating immersive environments played a crucial role in the success of Timeless Grooves, ensuring that the event was not just heard but also seen in a way that resonated deeply with the audience.
Timeless Grooves was more than just a concert; it was an exploration of how music can be presented in new and creative ways. While the event was a one-of-a-kind experience, Ermens expressed his desire to continue pushing the boundaries of musical presentation in Helmond, potentially making Timeless Grooves an annual or biennial tradition.
